and get in the damn water. Repeat after me, put the swimsuit on and get in the damn water.
Yep. It is summer, time for some fun. I hear you Moms, friends, everyone… no swimsuit for me!!!!!!
Why? You overhead so and so got her boobs done and you took one look at your maybe not so even ones? Guess, what… 99% of us our boobs don’t match. I get that your stomach isn’t flat, either. 2 things on that… if you carried a kiddo in there, don’t stress about it. You grew a kid. 2nd… no one cares, except you. I am not here to tell you what your body should be, that’s up to you.
But I can tell you these things though. Your kids and whoever you are with this summer adore you. They don’t care if your body is perfect or in your mind is not. They don’t care if the number or letter on those tags are 1 number or 3. But they do care about you, they want to be with you and they want you to have fun, because they put their swimsuit on and are having fun.
Each winter, I tell myself that next summer I’ll be “skinny” and I’ll be “so hot” this summer… well, it is now summer and guess what, I am not skinny, nor the size I should be. I should be a lot better in this area, but excuse row is where my butt sits. But where my butt does not sit, is on the side lines when my kids ask me to hop in the water. I am just as conscience as the next person as that swimsuit top rides up my stomach… but guess what, you pull that sucker back down and you have all the fun in the world.
And for those legs that didn’t get shaved, or the eyeliner that is not waterproof. We don’t care about those, either, because this Momma is GUILY AS CHARGED! Just make sure you put some deodorant on, spray on some smell-goody and sunscreen and you are set!
Now repeat after me: Put the swimsuit on and get in the damn water. Put the swimsuit on and get in the damn water.

PS… take those pictures, too. Take the selfies with your bestie. Grab the kids and do the cheesiest of smiles… pose with the hubby/partner… just take the pic and continue to smile about it when you get back home.
