30 Days of Cleaning YOU Challenge.

A new year is upon us, it is that fresh start we all look for, it is that chance to start new chapters, or heck, even stat a new life story.  Here’s the thing, we want to jump into the “new” but we forget that we have lots behind us that we didn’t clean up first.

Us as women hold on to so many things. We hold on to emotions, we hold on to memories, we hold on to things. We hold on to “what if.”

Women are known to never wanting to be without and we don’t like to not be prepared for something, in the fear that we will not only let ourselves down, but those around us. Because of this, we come to the table over prepared. We go into our lives, with too much.

I told myself that 2020 was going to be the year that I am intentional in what I need and with that, I really need to take my personal spaces and Clean. Them. Out. I need to take the next days ahead and go through my personal belongings and purge. Now, I am not saying throw all of your favorite and most personal possessions away, I am advising you to take this next month and use the guide to go through  areas of you.

Yes, we need to clean our kitchen cupboards, yes, we need to do the yearly closet go-though, but we also need to go beyond that.  If everything around you is cluttered, our minds won’t be as clear as they need to be.  Think of your cellphone, how many people are in there that you no longer talk too, or they changed their phone numbers, update that!  Go through those photo albums and clear out screenshots no longer needed, clear out downloads you didn’t get to last year. Give yourself room for the year ahead.

Our tastes, wants, needs are different than years before and we need to embrace that. Take this challenge, clean your personal space in January, then you can be refreshed for the year ahead.

Now go dig out a couple of those Amazon boxes you got everyday in the month of December. Write DONATE on one and TOSS on the other. When you go to each one of these areas, chuck. CHUCK IT. Get it in that box. You will feel a million times better by cleaning your clutter and filling the boxes. THEN… the hard part, dumping that box of TOSS into the garbage can and then getting those DONATE goods to your preference for donating.

Here it is, your next 30 days. Print off this sheet, screen save it to your phone, whatever your preference is, but put that where you look at it 3 times a day and you take the 10 minutes each day to do these. It is the year where us Mommas, ladies, friends, US, take back ourselves!
